Mr Renner, thank you for stepping in and clarifying your position and your purpose.

Too often in our emerging Haitin film industry, people tend to confuse tv broadcasting in terms of mass communications and filmmaking which is totaly a different concept and science.

When I read that you, a professional from Broadcast background is opening a "film school" in Haiti, I was puzzled.

Television production is totally different than film production, in concept, in approach and in proceedings.

Tv production caters to documenting reality.

Film production is rather recreating reality.

Too often in our Haitian movie industries, I see people fail to produce a good movie because of their tv production backgrounds.

I am glad that you put some question marks on the statement "opening a film school in Haiti".

Good luck with your work. We do need an audio-visual approach to our education system in Haiti.
