Le Fils Du Diable, Coming soon To DVD

In a recent phone conversation with some people behind the scenes, I was told that Le Fils Du Diable will be coming out on DVD very soon.

"Le Fils Du Diable will not be playing anywhere esle", says Medgine Desir, the assistant Director, "It should be out on DVD within the next few weeks".

With Haitians movie lovers scattered all over the the world and a website like belfim letting them know what movies are available. I think it is wise for Haitian movie producers not to hold on to their movies too long before making it available on DVD.

I was just reading an article stating that in the near future, American movies may come out on DVD 3 weeks to a month after their release in theaters.

The Haitian market is small, I don't know the real reason why Haitian movie producers hold to their movies for so long before making it available on DVD.

Maybe it's money, maybe it's the lack of it, maybe it's strategy... Who knows!

If you are a movie producer of director, I would love for you to shed some light on this issue for the Belfim public.
