It's Monday morning in Haiti and the morning program Matin Caraibes on radio Caraibes FM is on. A group of journalists are talking about a grand premiere of a movie that was held at the Marriot hotel in Port-au-Prince.
Journlist Jacques Adler Jean-Pierre complained about his back hurting during the premiere because the seats were not comfortable enough for a movie showing.
"Haitian movies are being show in spaces that were not created for showing movies," the journalist said.
"The days of grabbing a popcorn and soda to watch a Haitian movie is over," says journalist Lamour Erick Laguerre alias Tom Malè.
Once upon a time, there were movies theaters in various cities in Haiti, Port-au-Prince, Cap-Haitien, Jacmel, Les Cayes. These movie theaters are gone. What happened???
What do you think about that?
