Actress Fabienne Colas is now 'Director' Fabienne Colas

Haitian Actress Fabienne Colas will be known as movie director Fabienne Colas by the end of September once the Festival International du Film Haïtien de Montreal is over.

In a recent press release from FIFHM, the big surprise came that her brand new movie MINUIT will officially open the Festival on September 17, at 7 p.m., in the Mirella and Lino Saputo Theatre at the Leonardo da Vinci Centre (8350 Lacordaire).

MINUIT will jumpstart Fabienne's carreer as a filmmaker. According to the press release, MINUIT is a story about voodoo right in the heart of Montreal. A race against time and the forces of evil!

The Montreal International Haitian Film Festival will take place - in Montreal Canada of course - from September 17 to 21 2008.

Fabienne's new movie MINUIT will one of 53 fiction, documentary, short and feature-length films that you will be able to watch at the festival.
