Pierrot Mervilier Biography

Pierrot Mervilier (Peter for its friends and fans), was born on March 21, 1976 in Fonds des Liannes, 1rst. rural section of Petite Rivière de Nippes, commune of the tenth department of the Republic Of Haiti.

Its trimness, was worth to him to be named, after his philosophy at Lycee Anténor Firmin, as the honorary president for the heritage which he left.

Pierrot Mervilier studied finance at Quisqueya university; but he is rather known near his close friends like a creator of great ideas.

Thus, Pierrot Mervilier is always in contact with jovial activities such literary club, young houses, fair ect...

All this pushes Pierrot Mervilier to discover his artistic talent and love for the cinema.

That's why, we find Pierrot in the last sequence at the end of " I Love You Anne" the most successful Haitian movie, in a role of a hustler catch by corps and said: "Chèf la, se brasè m ye, m'pa volè non". (Officer, I'm a hustler but not a stealer.)

In spite of, a short presentation, it was nevertheless outstanding compared to the weight of the dialogue.

Then, Pierrot Mervilier incarnated Leon, a bad tenant, in last film of Sylvio Tessier " LA VICTIME" a five stars Haitian movie, of which he is also the Co-producer.

Pierrot Mervilier is the chairman of LOKAL COMMUNICATION, a company of production, distribution and marketing in the market.

However, considering his dimensions very thorough humanitarian, his love for the stripped children, old men, handicapped people, so he plunged in a social hunt and in a incomparable patriotic love.

And his most highest dream is the creation of the Pierrot Mervilier Foundation to promote and support the Haitian culture.
