Agencies pay you money to work as a model, you don't pay an agency.

I heard that from Tyra Banks a thousand times.

If an agency asks you for money to take pictures, or for hotel, transportation, that is a rip off, you have been scam. If a model pays an agency thousands of dollars, how the model makes money herself?
