Raynald Delerme's Film To Play In Double Feature With An African Movie
This may come as a surprise to many considering that African movies have been blamed for the reduction in the sales of Haitian movies and that Raynald Delerme is the president of the Haitian American Association of Filmmakers.
Here's what we know so far about this Haitian-African double feature:
In an event code named "Haitian Cinema meets African Cinema," Raynald Delerme's movie 2 SE, and a newly released African movie, Paparazzi: Eye in the Dark, will be playing as a double feature on Sunday October 2, 2011, at the Cinema Paradisio in Ft Lauderdale Florida.
About the movies...
2 SE is a comedic love story directed by Raynald Delerme starring Esther Precival, Mimcy D. Laguerre, Daniel Adolphe, and Roldson Jean about a Haitian-American loverboy and his encounter with his bait, a young Haitian girl fresh out of Haiti, and her sister, his former lover.
Paparazzi: Eye in the Dark is a romantic mystery film directed by Bayo Akinfemi, starring Van Vicker, Koby Maxwell, Tchidi Chikere, Syr Law, JJ Bunny and Chet Anekwe an aspiring photographer whose accidental picture exposes an infamous murder mystery
