Top Kreyol Haitian Film Festival, Jacksonville FL

It is called "The Top Kreyol Haitian Film Festival at Jacksonville / TKHFFAJ" and the first edition of the festival will be a 2-day event and it will be held on November 28-29, 2009 in Jacksonville FL.

The Top Kreyol Haitian Film Festival is being put together by a group of students from the Florida Community College at Jacksonville (FCJJ).

If you want your movie to be a part of this new film festival, you must submit it no later than September 30th, 2009.

The Top Kreyol Haitian Film Festival at Jacksonville was founded to celebrate the Haitian international cinema, to recognize and support new filmmakers, and to enhance awareness, accessibility and understanding of the art among a broad and diverse and passionate filmgoing audience that will number over 50,000 this year.

Top Kreyol Haitian Film Festival at Jacksonville presents two days that includes premieres of new films from an international roster of established and emerging directors; major retrospectives and high profile events. TKHFFAJ is one of those rare events whose stature will be matched by its popularity, it'll welcome this year an aggregate audience of more than 50.000, filmmakers and industry leaders from everywhere, age, economic and ethnic group.

In addition, the Top Kreyol Haitian Film Festival at Jacksonville offers filmgoers a rare opportunity to meet some filmakers. Directors, Screenwriters and Cinematographers eager to share their work will provide an exclusive inside look at the industry during their film presentation.
