Intellectual Theft In America, Are you Protected?

Piracy is one of the biggest problem in the Haitian movie industry and the question is, who is supposed to protect you the movie maker?

If a Haitian movie is made in the USA, Is it protected by Haitian laws or American laws?

Are there any laws against Intellectual theft in Haiti?

I bring this up because I just read that Vice President Biden will be meeting with Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman, Warner Bros. Entertainment CEO Barry Meyer, NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker and Sony Pictures CEO Michael Lynton for a special meeting on Intellectual Theft.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the meeting is today at the White House and the discussion is how to fight theft of intellectual property because, they say, it's costing Jobs in America.
