Byen Konte Mal Kalkile is about a young woman named Adelina (Adline Azemar) who leaves Haiti to reunite with her husband Johny (Joseph Johny Baptiste) in United States.

Upon her arrival she realizes that her husband has other plans that includes another woman.

Eventually she gets kicked out and goes around begging for a job and a place to stay. By the end of the movie, there is a reversal of fortune. With hard work and her dedication to learn she makes it and her ex husband comes back begging for mercy.

Byen Konte Mal Kalkile also stars Fausta Darius Mehi, Nancy Laguerre, Luckson Estiverne, Mariline Louis, and Martine Ophin.

The movie is coming soon to DVD, this is the last update we have from the movie's director.
