Bernadette Chitolie

Bernadette Chitolie Biography

Bernadette Chitolie is a rising star electrifying the silver screen in Wind of Desire. Chitolie plays the role of Florence Casimir, a determined seductress whose use of money and power destroys the quintessential essence of love.

Wind of Desire is Chitolie's acting debut. She was discovered by the film's director and producer, Wilkenson Bruna, while being featured as a model in Kompa Magazine, a popular Haitian magazine. Chitolie's exotic look is a result of a diverse background, since her mother is from Haiti and father from St. Lucia.

Although this has been the start of her acting career, Chitolie's love for the arts began at the age of three, when she would entertain her parents by performing Michael Jackson songs, entered oratory contests in elementary school, performed award-winning monologues in middle school, and attended a special high school where she studied television production. After winning several awards for TV production and public speaking, Chitolie served as a correspondent for local entertainment shows and worked for several national and local television networks. Through all this, she continued to delve in both print and runway modeling.

Chitolie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of
Miami. She majored in Broadcast Journalism and Sociology and minored in Caribbean
and African American Studies, with intense studies in Theater Arts.

This well-rounded actress continues to take time to serve as a mentor to teenage girls and with Wind of Desire as her launching ground, she plans to pursue an acting career, as well as a career in broadcasting with hopes of being the host of her own entertainment-based television show.
