I agree with you. Nice is not that great.

But why have you been putting it all on her for so many posts?

Is she the only one?

Is it because she's young?

she's a woman?

she's not a medecine doctor?

she's not part of the Haitian "bourgeoisie"?

What about Dr Lubin?

Has he not been playing the same character over and over?

(the impeccable macho who is either a doctor or a lawyer) Doesn't he play it the same manner, often with the same lines of script?

Didn't he play sometimes in movies that suck?

(Le miracle de la foi is far from being a good movie) But I read people here comparing him to Denzel Washington !!!! LOL

Really it's not about one actor or the other.

It is about the haitian cinema being so young that only a few talents or technicians are real professional.

Some of them have the capacity to improve, others will not. It's up to the audience not to create monsters, to make some of them believe that they are so good that they don't need acting classes.
