Hard Times Movie Premiere, One Week Away!

The grand premiere of Hard Times is this coming weekend, Sunday, March 15th, 2009 at the Playground Theatre, in Miami Shores. We have just uploaded some new photos of the actors behind the scenes.

In his first movie, Selfish Love, Haitian filmmaker Leonard Maxime Francois taught us a lesson or two about domestic violence. This time, in Hard Times, he is about to teach us what else we have to loose if we are not careful.

You know sometimes you have everything going for you and you make every possible effort to achieve a level of success in your life. Yes, sometimes it includes getting away from old friends and acquaintances.

These old friends, they have a funny way of crawling back into your life and mess it all up again. This happens in the Haitian community and all around the world. Willpower works most of the time but reinforcement is a required tune up.

Who are your friends?
Who are you getting your reinforcement from?
What do you have to loose?

These are some of the issues that this new movie, Hard Times, addresses using Haitian actors, people, and situations that you and/or your children can identify with. This is one more reason why we must support these young filmmakers in their efforts to come up visual aids to help and entertain us at the same time.

Starring Bennchoumy Elien, Aliette Richards, Pantaleon Guilbaud, Maria Cyrius, and Genji Jacques, Hard Times will be playing in south Florida this weekend, Sunday, March 15th, 2009.

If you live in South Florida, come out, not just to show your support, but to meet other great people in your community, to network, to have fun, and... to remove some stress. :)

You can go anywhere and spend your hard earned money but when you are amongst your people, you are more important, and you matter. If you don't live in South Florida, you better start calling your friends down there and force them out of the house!
