COUSINES Bootlegged, Authentic DVD Now Available!

One recent victims was the bootlegging of Haitian movie Cousines.

"Cousines", produced by Haitian Director and Producer Wilkenson Bruna (Wind Of Desire). It is written and directed by Haitian Filmmaker Richard Senecal (Barikad, I Love You Anne).

Cousines is a movie about the life of a young Haitian woman and the harsh reality she faces in Haiti, a country where money talks, after her father, her sole provider, suddenly dies of a heart attack and the green back stops coming in.

Unfortunately for the talented cast of this movie, we have many bad apples who have absolutely no respect for other peoples talent. So in order to make a quick buck they hijack the movie before it was even out on DVD.

Considering that my goal is to help this poor and striving movie industry, I feel hurt by these acts as well.

Let's be realistic, if these actors and producers never make a penny, neither will I since I am not in the business of promoting bootleg.

COUSINES, The authentic version, has been released on DVD Q-PAK

On a personal note:

I am not a movie producer, I am not an actor, but I now know how much time, money, and energy goes into the making of a movie... Yes... even the low budget Haitian movies you so desperately want improved.

But how can they improve if you continue to encourage thieves who live off the talent of your favorite Haitian actors?

Some people invest their life savings in order to bring entertainment to your door step. Encourage them... Buy Original!

Perhaps one day, with your help as the consumer, your favorite Haitian actor may be able to collect a royalty check just like the big boys in Hollywood.

If they make you laugh, if they make you cry, they deserve it. don't you think?
