Cine Triomphe Renamed Centre Culturel du Champs de Mars

Haiti's Cine Triomphe will soon be named Centre Culturel du Champs de Mars. This is the latest announcement from Marie Laurence Lassègue, Haiti's new minister of Communication and culture.

Cine Triomphe, once an iconic building in Haiti most popular park public square, Champs De Mars, deteriorated into an ugly abandoned building, minutes from the white house.

Cine Triomphe became a representation of the government's respect for intellectual property.

NONE!

We have been told that Madame Lassègue did a superb job with Women's rights issues in Haiti.

Earlier in November she announced that Cine Triomphe will soon be named Centre Culturel du Champs de Mars.

Let us see if it bears fruit.
