Believe it...

Twitter has this award called "The Shorty Awards."

Its an award given out to honor the best producers of short real-time content, getting your message across, 140 characters of less at a time, on twitter.

Wanna be a winner? tweet away... and for a good cause...

Alyssa Milano and Haiti? Where's the connection?

Well... You know danm well that I will not talk about anyone on Belfim unless they are a celebrity AND somehow linked to a Haitian movie or a Haitian cause.

First let me tell you that Alyssa Milano was one of the phone bank operators at the Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief.

But more than that... I just read on E! Online that she was one of the first celebrities to donate big money to the Haiti relief efforts.

My Haitian childhood memories of Alyssa Milano...

The very first times I ever walked into a Haitian movie theater (I guess it's appropriate to call it that...) was in Hinche Haiti at Abner Volmar's Night Club, Deye Seprenn nan, to watch the movie COMANDO starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Remember the little girls in the movie? that was Alyssa...

Thank you Alyssa for caring about our Haiti Cherie.
