Eliezer Castro Biography

Eliezer Castro was born in Houston, Texas on March 8 1978. At the age of 5, he and his family moved to Miami Florida.

Being of Cuban decent, the rich Latin-American culture of south Florida would prove an inspiration to both Eliezer's art and acting.

There Eliezer Castro attended High School at the Performing and Visual Arts Center, and afterwards went on to Florida International University.

While at FIU Eliezer Castro enrolled in classes on film making and performance art and discovered his love of acting.

After receiving his BFA, Eliezer decided to concentrate full time on acting. He then moved to New York City where he began studying at The Film Actors Studio with Jeffrey Stocker and performing in Off Broadway productions.

After an enlightening 2 years in New York, Eliezer decided the next step was Los Angeles.

Eliezer Castro has been living in Los Angeles since October 2005, and subsequently has had featured and supporting roles in the featured films, "Color of the Cross", and "Hollywood Familia".

Now he is scheduled to play leading roles in the featured films, "Verdugo", which begins shooting in June, and "Horrorween" which begins shooting in October.
