I like the article as well Woody.

As a filmmaker I could tell you from experience.

We don't want to do anything with each other or we just don't want it to seem as if someone else is helping us. Being that a pioneer Haitian filmmaker has gotten the theatre for us all to use seems to be the reason why other filmmaker don't want to use the theatre.

Why?

I cant tell you. But Hollywood wasn't built by one man. We feel like "oh I got to do this my way".

We all want to reinvent the wheel.

Instead of us all working together we want to pretend like the resource is not already there and try to find another way so we don't have to deal with one another.

Im sorry to say his, but due to a lot of bad productions, no unity, backstabbing and bootlegging the Light that once began to shine bright on Haitian cinema is starting to dim at a rate that pretty soon we will not be able to save.
