Dear Dre
I believe that you need to do some research and find out what's out there...judging by the fact that you mentioned that all the Haitian films are of the same story lines I guess you have not done your homework and have not seen Pluie d'Espoir.

This is a movie that was written, shot and produced by a filmaker and experienced producer with a long list of credits...serious credits.

Having produced over 400 TV comercials for International companies and fortune 500 companies in the US. Including Chrysler Motors, Dark & Lovely, Profectiv, Pfizer, Pepsi, Coca Cola etc...

Let me give you a quick view of my background and why we have produced this film called by most Haitians, extraordinary, not only because of its great images with deph of field, shot with over 18 lenses including a 4mm Optec and a 300 T1 lens to create a double flu in the background and the foreground...but also because of its original content...you see, NYU has given me lots of knowledge, but not my talent.

That came from my etnicity...same as my music in the jingle industry...it was always distinctive because of my Haitian background which I am proud of.
It is too bad that I cannot ask you to take a look at Pluie d'Espoir because there is only a bad pirated copy out there and not worth seeing; you should see the real Mc Coy with the 12 missing scenes that are not in the pirated version.

This way you can see the final montage of the movie.

You should not watch what people bootleg because these pirates do not understand creativity, camera angle and the 360 degree principle of film making.

I wish I could show it to you...for now on, you should not write on issues that you do not research my friends.

Haitian have started to do movies and will do well if they study Cinematography and directing.

I hope that they do. I will never discredit them for trying you shouldn't either.

You talk about Cap Haitian making better movies I am not from Cap Haitian even though my partner is.
The reason I shoot film DRE is because of the flexibility of the lenses and the deph of field you can never get from video.

Do not forget the music scores DRE because it is imperative to enhance the scenes.

Thank YOU!
First of all let's work together.

Jacques Roc
