Movie about Toussaint Louverture

Three cheers for Danny GLover in this one; if nayone can pull it off, he can.
However, being realistic is not necessarily negative.

I hope they can get it done. There was such a film about the contribution of the Black American troups in the U.S. Civil War and it was successful, so there is no reason to expect that this would be otherwise.

There was another one about the Slave ship which landed in Long Island (AMISTAD) and the people were tried in a colonial court in America.

It was well received as well, and there were White villans as well. There is enough race bating without our adding to it or creating extra negativity with acerbic comments; this cannot help if we want to educate people about the Haitian experience.

Think positive.

Be positive.

However, even though I am glad for Mr. Glover's role in giving exposure to the successful Haitian struggles in earlier times, his role in supporting Aristide SAN GARDE DERIERE is not worthy of a person of his integrity.
