What happened to Haitian cinema since the earthquake?

I guess it is safe to assume that Haitian movie fans have noticed a considerable "slow down" in the Haitian movie industry... Bellywood...

Is it the earthquake or is it the economy?

I know that there are a few movies coming to DVD and there are a couple of movie premieres coming up.

I hope you agree with me that... There's excitement missing in the air.

• The red carpet...
• The limousines...
• The after parties...
• The pictures...
• The stories...

An actor, of all people, came to me and said: "Fo-w di mwen we Franz Design pa fe movie award ane sa-a"

LOL... Yeah... They miss that too!

The fans... They notice these things... Hmmm...

Yeah... There is something missing... Ongoing discussions about which movies that are coming out and all the fun things happening behind the scenes.

It almost feels like an earthquake hit right in the heart of Bellywood!

Honestly, I don't really know what to say. So I will leave it up to you, Mr. And Mrs. filmmaker, to answer that question for all the Belfim movie fans out there...
