We now have the official movie poster for the movie Moloch Tropical, a new film by Raoul Peck.

Moloch Tropical had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last month.

Moloch Tropical was shot at the La Citadelle Laferriere, the largest fortress in the western hemisphere and one of the most amazing wonders of the world.

Yes... It's in Haiti.

What is the movie about?

Starring Zinedine Soualem and Sonia Rolland (the first African-born Miss France pageant winner), Moloch Tropical is a movie about a democratically elected President and his closest collaborators who are are getting ready for a state celebration. But in the morning of the event, he wakes up to find the country inflamed and the streets in turmoil.

Filmmaker Raoul Peck is one of the most respected Haitian filmmakers in the world. Honestly, I cannot wait to see the movie. I saw his HBO movie Sometimes In April and it was one to remember.
