BOCA RATON, FLORIDA - Kompa en Action, Inc is pleased to announce its first English language/title film "Mistaking Spell" to premiere, Sunday, September 4th 2011, 7:00pm at Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A special evening is planned with a performance by the graceful Butterfly dancers before the premiere and The Trio Jazz Band at the reception following the premiere.

Mistaking Spell stars Rosemary (Wadelene Joseph-Nicola), a young detective working with the Miami Police Department. Rosemary has a knack for solving crimes involving female victims. The detective has a nosy boss who gives her a special assignment involving digging into her past. Gous (Bradley Webb), a 22 year old nerd who can't find a girlfriend, decides to use a spell. A psychic gives him potions that he misuses and mistakenly switches the bottles.

Mistaking Spell is in English with a running time of 120 minutes. The film was produced in Florida with actors from many ethnic groups and backgrounds including Caucasian Irish, Jewish, African-American, Latino, Haitian and Jamaican. Mistaking Spell was written and directed by Wadelene "Miss Carole" Joseph-Nicola (http:// belfim.com, the CEO of Kompa En Action, Inc.
