Jimmy Jean-Louis is "The Haitian" in Heroes but if you watch the episodes of "Heroes: The Eclipse, Part 1" "Heroes: The Eclipse, Part 2" you will find out that Jimmy Jean-Louis is not the only Haitian in the story.

As a matter of fact "The Haitian" has a half brother called Baron Samedi (Demetrius Grosse), also the son of Guillame, the Houngan (See: NBC Heroes Goes To Haiti).

Samedi uses his power to make people believe he is a Vodou god, and then built an army ruled with fear. It was stated by Peter Petrelli that he was involved in drug trafficking, kidnapping and slavery.

Baron Samedi's Power: Baron Samedi is an evolved human who has impenetrable skin, he isa warlord in Haiti who escaped from Level 5 (a prison).

Haitian Hollywood actor Jean-Pierre Vertus is one of Baron Samedi's Haitian Soldiers, the other Haitian soldier mentioned is Rene Cadet but we don't know yet if he is a Haitian actor.

There are two non-Haitian actors introduced in "The Eclipse Part 2" who play Haitian roles:

  1. Dominican Actress Sonalii Castillo who plays the role of Marie, a Haitian girl who was imprisoned by Baron Samedi at the time he captured Peter Petrelli and...
  2. Actress Tatiyana Cotton who plays the role of Marie's little sister Vivienne, she was also imprisoned by Baron Samedi along with her sister.

Both sisters are rescued by "The Haitian" (Jimmy Jean-Louis) and returned to their parents.

Observation:

I don't know if you guys notice but Haiti has a story for sale and that story is "VOODOO".

This is not the first time Baron Samedi is used by Hollywood, Baron Samedi, the Haitian voodoo loa of the dead, is also a fictional character from the 1954 James Bond novel, the 1973 film Live and Let Die, and many James Bond video games.

If you ask me, we should pack and ship Voodoo to the rest of the world just like the Chinese packs and ships Karate and Chopsticks to the rest of the world.

I am sure you will agree with me that "VOODOO" is very commercial and we own it.
