The grand premiere was held on Saturday, August 15th, 2009, at the Lake Worth Playhouse in Lake Worth, Florida.

That Saturday it was raining like crazy and because of that, filmmaker Valentin C. Lustra did not get the turn out that he expected but many people came out to support him.

I heard lots of laughter inside the theater.

Although the main story in the movie is about love and revenge, the side stories are really funny and they will make you laugh.

One strange contrast in the movie is the fact that Rodney (Onipe Auguste) who is the nice guy in the movie has a cousin who is a gang leader and his boys do not mess around while Jerry (Jean Robert Saint-Thelus), who is the bad boy, his cousin Kernst (Edson Cazeau) is down to earth and extremely funny.

Another surprise guest of the evening was the beautiful Elizabeth Pluviose who played the role of Laura in part 1, everybody, it seems, were very happy to see her.

Georges Balezines, who was not present at the premiere, was another funny character in Laura2: La Vengeance De Rodney.

Overall everyone who was in attendance had a wonderful time at the premiere.

After the grand premiere there was a dinner party at Chez Mika Restaurant and Bar in Delray Beach FL. There were even more laughter at the dinner party, especially when Haitian radio host Lesly Jacques got on stage to make a contrast between L'amour et L'amitie (love and friendship).

I cannot explain it, you really had to be there!

The evening continued on with comedy sessions and live singing, anpil fritay, ak bon duvin, and when that was all over width, the guest danced until the early hours of Sunday morning.
