Haitian Actor Jerry Lentz Rocher Father of first baby Boy
Their son, named Tarry Lentz Rocher, was born this morning, January 24, 2009, at 11:17AM at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL.
We did inquire about the name "Darry" and Jerry told us "Dar" is for Darline and "ry" is for Jerry... Cute!
"Everything is doing great," the young actor tells Belfim but the hospital will hold baby Darry for a few days.
Apparently, young Darry only weighted 5 pounds and 5 ounces at birth and the doctor thought it would be in the best interest of the baby for him to remain in the hospital for a few days.
Baby Daddy was born on time, not prematurely, however Mommy, Darline, was unable to keep any food in her stomach during the pregnancy. After the baby was born the first thing she said was: "Good , now I'm done thowing up!"
We also asked Jerry the question any man who witness the birth of a baby wants to know:
"Did you pass out?"
"Bon... Pie-m te komanse tranble wi..." Jerry replied, "Men-n te degaje-m kan menm..."
The actor is currently shooting the new Haitian movie Michael Smith in Florida, under the direction of Samuel Vincent, one of the most promising young filmmakers in the Haitian movie industry.
Jerry Lentz Rocher is best known for his role as Boby, opposite Haitian Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, in the Haitian movie "Cousines", a film shot in Haiti and directed by Richard Senecal.
Belfim wishes to congratulate Jerry and wife Darline. We also wish to welcome young Darry to this world...
One more Haitian-American tax payer in the United States!
President Obama will very happy to hear the news!
Hip... Hip... Hooray...!
