Looking forward to the next film

Fantastic...Fantastic...Fantastic !!!
This is one of the many words that can describe our feeling toward this wonderfully made Haitian film.
As young professionals we gave it 4 thumbs up.
This movie had so many different subject matters, one does not know where to start.

From a single father trying to do right by his daughter while trying to have a life, to an adolescent dealing with a loss of a mother and seeking maternal guidance, confusion, uncertainty about future plans, seeking approval from her friends, manipulating her father's love and dealing with sharing her father with her potential step mother...That is definetely a lot of issues.

This film presented different aspect of adolescent development and family dynamics in a multicultural tone, thus anyone from any cultural background can relate to this film.
We need more Haitian production like "La Rebelle".

Congrats to a movie well-made, and to a group of talented actors.
