The message is a "positive" one is you know what I mean. But guys/gilrs, please ..don't just make films..write first.

This is the only way we'll get better.

They are too many Haitian films, and we all know most of them will fail simply because there are no writing been done (except for a few Directors like Willkenson B.).

They simply quickly put something together and have a grand premier.

That won't do it. Go to film school / study the industry, etc...otherwise, you all are all kidding yourselves.

I don't mean to be negative but that's the reality.

Every other guy/girl thinks his/ her film will be the next big hit..Are you kidding me?

"Pa Ba tet ou menti." I've not saying this to put Haitians who are working in film down but we have to be realistic here. They are Haitian artists that are doing it right.

Take the Zin Haitian Band for instance.

They take their time and actually write Haitian Songs, then they sing them. Guest what?

They are successful at it. The same has to be done for Haitian Films or else you guys /grils will be making one bad movie after another and no one will be watching. With all that said..what are the best-written, best-produced Haitian Movies/Films from 1980-to present?
