The Oloffson is probably the most famous hotel in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti.

The place is unique and magical.

Over the years, the former family villa featuring the well-known "gingerbread" architecture has hosted famous visitors, artists, journalists.

The novelist Graham Greene made it the scene of one of his most famous novels: The comedians.

Today the hotel is managed by Richard Morse, founder of the band RAM that performs there on a very regular basis.

In this film Richard Senecal describes a visit to the Oloffson.

He does not just present the stunning architecture of the place but he lets us also enter the special and almost mystical atmosphere.

Directed by Richard Senecal, 2011.
