The reason why the price of movies is high is because of middle man (distributors) interference.

Movie makers sell movies to distributors and the distributors pad $1.50-$3 per movie.

The store end up selling it higher to keep the margin.

Stores need to honor price when they get it cheaper.

If movie maker interface stores directly movies can be purchased for $9 or less

Online Piracy: The Haitian movie watching culture is changing.

Most avid and younger movie watchers do not buy movies anymore.

They wait for it to come out online.

Yesterday there were 97 Haitian online Channels.

Today there are 96 currently active.

They always re-emerge with different back end names, aliases but at time same front.

Movie producers are not equipped nor have the time to chase them..

If online Pirates(online broadcasters) work with producers, the industry will move forward in ways we can not imagine.

There must be mutual respect, accountability and innovation.

Online Broadcasters are here to stay, they are the wave of the future.

They will never go away!! Producers need to find a way to make it work.

What if these online broadcasters finally behaved like legitimate online sites?

What if the online broadcasters paid for a license acknowledging the producers, their work effort and directly finance new movie creation and enable producers to create better quality movies.

The balance can be made. It only requires an even handed broker to streamline the process.
