"Oasis" Prevails - AUGUST 7, 2006

- Through much adversity and obscurities, the movie that has stirred up so much murmur for its outstanding cast and its intense script has been resuscitated and shall be gracing the big screen soon.

Produced and written by Francette Agnant, "Oasis" has been in the works for almost a year and through perseverance and determination the movie is finally in the right hands.

With a release date of March 2006, after filming, "Oasis" met a few barricades, where back and forth obstacles and unforeseen matters became public.

After much stalling, the movie is now on the track it was suppose to be since the very beginning.

A twisted tale of deceit, adultery, treachery and love, "Oasis" brings to the scene the talent of several new actors, while allowing those who have engaged us before, another avenue to display their expertise.

Jeff Policard, Corine Alexandre, Paulson Azemar, Joseph Zenny, Jr., Tonton Nord, and the esteemed Reginald Lubin are just a few of the artists that enrich the "Oasis" storyline by adding their personal touches to each character.

Previously directed by Richard Senecal, whose lack of professionalism came to light right after filming, "Oasis'," footage was finally turned over by attorneys this past July and is now in the process of being edited for release.

Reginald Lubin, Sacha Parisot and Ralph Conde will lend their wisdom to ensure that the process is quickly expedited to confirm the tentative Winter 2007 release.
