I'm white and I would also contribute if I could.

It's annoying that Hollywood makes multiple movies about the same WWII battles, but this story has never been told. The abolition of slavery was a victory for all workers even white ones and this was the struggle that scared Europe into abolition.

Also the claim that there are "no white heroes" is ridiculous, sure all the major popular figures except Sonthonax were black, there were French and Polish soldiers on the Haitian side, Robespierre supported the revolution, John Quincy Adams gave money and weapons to Toussaint, etc. American producers don't have a shortage of pro-Haitian whites to force into the storyline, they are just racist.
