Too much Rif Raf

I feel that all this rif about African movies Vs. Haitian movies is just another excuse for us (haitians) not to suppost each other.

A film Maker should not worry about what the competition is doing.

If your movie is good, even the sales start slow, once a few people watch your movie and word of mouth gets around, more people will go get it. African movies sell by the ten thousands (there are more of them than us, plus we buy their product too), Haitian movies sell by the thousand.

Some people feel that Haitian film makers need to go with the English language their movies in order to sell their movie to a more widespread market.

I feel that even if that is done, their will be criticism because some people will say that many people in Haiti do not understand it. So do we leave out the none English speakers for the sake of competition?

Lack of content is another criticism that Haitian movies get. If a movie is already 2hrs long and has part 2,and 3 to it, how can someone not understand and follow it?

So should Haitians start doing long movies with multiple parts too, just so that the public can say that Haitian movies have depth and are understood?

How can it not be thouroughly explored as far as the subject is concerned?

A 2hr total movie will have less subjects and dialog between the characters...Always.

Gotta Run!
