The Associated Press writes an article about Haitian Cinema

The article, Film industry blooms in volatile Haiti, was written By STEVENSON JACOBS, a staff writer for the Associated Press, on Fri Jul 6.

It always bring a smile to my face when the world media write articles about Haitian culture instead of the usual politics.

According the article, Haiti is the second largest Movie producing country in the carribean, second only to Cuba.

The article also pointed out that, while lacking technical polish, Haitian films are now exploring weighty social issues like HIV/AIDS and prostitution.
