Papa Pie Receives $6,000 On Premiere Night In FL

belfim.com/picture-3606This weekend was Papa Pie's weekend in Miami.

Jean Claude Joseph aka Papa Pie was the guest of honor at the La Trace Movie Premiere.

The entire evening was in honor of Jean Claude Joseph aka Papa Pie, someone who has been entertaining Haitians for over 40 years.

A $5,000 check was given to him from La Trace Productions to honor his 40 years of achievement.

In many cases the Haitian entertainers who get lucky will get a lifetime achievement award, a certificate, a plaque, or a statuette. The others get their praise only after they lay in the wooden box, six feet under, waiting for Jesus to come back.

But La Trace Productions did something different, they reached deep in their pockets and honored Papa Pie with a big fat check.

To contribute to the honor given to Papa Pie, I, Woodring Saint Preux, from Belfim.com handed another check to Papa Pie in the amount of $1,000 in the presence of Kerby Leveille, a small token of my appreciation to thank him on behalf of all the Belfim fans out there.

An entire generation grew up in Haiti watching "La Vie Nan Bouk", a sitcom starring Papa Pie, Frederik, Bos Macel, and Gracie.

You can honor Papa Pie as well if you feel that he has made you laugh. Contact La Trace Productions for more information.

If you love Papa Pie, show your love and tell him now, while he is still alive to say thank you.
