The other side of the story is that it takes some learning to become a good scriptwriter.

Scriptwriting has its own rules and grammar.

Writing a script is different from writing a novel or a play. You may have a great story and end up having a bad script.

At a time we used to receive about a dozen scripts for evaluation every month.

But only a few (if any) would qualify to make a good movie.

We advise aspiring scriptwriters to educate themselves first.

It is one of the few fields in movie making that does not require a formal training.

Any book about the subject, any web training or seminar will benefit the talented individual.
