Frankly I am tired of winy Haitians always ready to denounce vodoo...whether we like it or not vodoo is what Haiti is known for and what it will always be known for so accept it or become a U.S. citizen and say you are American...

Asking why does Haiti = Vodoo is like asking why Jamaica = Reggae or why Brazil = Soccer why Trinidad = Carnival...you see it as a bad thing so those that stigmatize it will always win, until you embrace every aspect of your culture as does Cuba and Brazil, vodoo will never be respected in Haiti...look at Santaria, they treat it like it is art now because Cubans dont denounce it, in Brazil vodoo gods are on name brand clothing such as Adidas Samba sneakers...

Self hatred is the reason Haiti and Haitians will always be bottom dwellers of society or as our fellow Caribs refer to us as The Scums of the Caribbean
