The church

Hi there, I agree with you that the Bible said we should be the head not the tail, and as a result Because of Us CHRISTIANS, these corruption should diminish...

But if the world is where it is now it is because as I mentioned the church lost its way. Now where we may differ is in our understanding of what is the church.

If the church is the religious organization that has mingled so much in corruption, well, there is no hope. But the church is: people together loving God, loving each other, loving their community and loving the world.

The gospel is not really known anymore, I live in the UK and a great majority of the new generation has never really heard the gospel.

Oh yes they have gone to the odd christening, wedding or even funeral, but they have not hear the gospel of Jesus.

God had one plan for this world that is Jesus.

Jesus will come back but in the mean time has established his church (not the political mess she became, again read Acts) to prepare his coming.

There are al lot of suffering, child abuse, prostitution, ect..

and there are also a lot of people who are fakes and that claim to be Christians and that go to a building somewhere, but let us judge by the fruits not by titles.

The church of Acts is a church which is an irritant to the status quo of a decayed society, it is a church full of the Holy Spirit's power, a church where gifted men and women dedicate their lives to live the truth and make a difference.

You are right, we need not preach to people.

We need to live and make a difference and then the world will wonder about us!
