Mora Etienne Junior, Dead or Alive?

belfim.com/picture-1849Around 5:25 PM, today, Monday May 28 2007, I receive a phone call from Haitian movie Producer Leo B. who tells me:

]]"Woody, I have disturbing news"

"What is it?" I ask him

[[act2200 Leo B. Replies:

"I just saw an announcement on Haitian Television that Mora Etienne Junior is Dead.

They say he was kidnapped by 3 guys in Haiti, they killed him and dropped his body near the airport."

"Hell No...", I replied in disbelief, "Let me call you back... I have to call Mora Etienne".

I hang up on Leo B. and dialed Mora Etienne's cell phone, praying that he picks up the phone.

Great News!

Mora Etienne did pick up the phone...

Mora Etienne is NOT dead...

I was so shock that I started laughing and hung up the phone on him.

I didn't know how to tell Leo B that Mora Etienne is NOT dead and that I just spoke to him so I put the two movie producers on 3-way so they could speak to each other.

During the phone conversation I heard Leo B telling Mora Etienne "Man I was so shocked by the news, I went to Home Depot and started swiping my driver's license thinking it's my credit card."

I must admit, this is a "CHOC TERRIBLE", which coincidentally is the title of Mora Etienne's latest movie now available on DVD.
