Jimmy Jean Louis IS Toussaint Louverture In His Next Movie Role
PARIS FRANCE - Haitian Hollywood Star Jimmy Jean-Louis will be playing the role of Toussaint Louverture in a new mini series currently being filmed in Martinique and L'Ile-De-France.

This news came to us only weeks after we found out that he was nominated for best actor in the 2011 African Movie Academy Awards.
For the past couple of months, Jimmy Jean-Louis has been learning how to ride a horse, a necessary skill for his new role as the leader of the Haitian Revolution.
Here is what we know so far...
The movie "Toussaint Louverture," a set of two movies, made for Television, 90 minutes each, is directed by Philippe Niang and is scheduled to for release Spring 2011.
