Haitian Filmmakers Welcome The Idea Of Selling Movies Online

I got a text message from Babylove Godnel Latus yesterday pushing the idea and encouraging his friends and fans to buy the Birth of An Assassin online.

So far, the Birth of An Assassin is not available in stores. You can ONLY buy it online.

All the actors including Marc Anthony Delerme, Sheila Mocombe, and Dieula Demosthene are telling their fans on Facebook to buy the movie online.

If you live in Miami, you may get a supprise knock at your door... One of the actors may hand deliver the movie to you after you buy it online!

Here's what I read on the facebook page of actress Dieula Demosthene:

"Are you in Miami? you Wanna buy "The Birth of an Assassin" cash no credit card.. inbox me your number, i will deliver it to you, face to face with a smile. let's go guys it's a movement"

I heard it through the grapevine that Mora Junior Etienne may release his new movie Le Prix A Payer on DVD as a 'FOR SALE ONLINE ONLY'

I have not spoke to Mora to confirm this...

Myself, I would say 9 out of 10 of all my transactions are done online, including recharging cell phone in Haiti and sending money to Haiti via Cam Transfert and Moneygram.

Some filmmakers argue that most of the profits from OFFLINE sales does not go their pockets anyway...
