Yesterday, Haiti Press Network released an article calling the private screening of Raoul Peck's new documentary 'Assistance Moretelle' an "Avant-Premiere." Peck came out to clarify.

There was no "Avant-Premiere" (Preview) of the 'Assistance Moretelle', Peck says.

There was a projection, a special and unique private meeting specifically organized by the producers and the director to show almost-finished film to his Haitian team, and stakeholders in the film.

Among the guests present were also three Haitian journalists and a foreign journalist friends who were specifically asked not to make any public statements about movie (including social networks) and the very fact of the private nature of the projection.

Some did not respect this agreement, Peck says.
