Natalie Grand Premiere, Standing Ovation

I noticed today that no comments was posted on belfim about the movie Natalie. Is that good news or bad news?

It's good news in a way. Usually people will flock to belfim to mention how much a movie suck and all the 1001 things they hate about the movie.

I did not notice a single comment yet, so let me be the first to tell you what happened at the premiere.

belfim.com/picture-2521The cast of Natalie got a standing ovation. Raynald Delerme, who was hosting the premiere said "If I don't ever see another Haitian movie again until the day I die, I am satisfied with what I saw".

"Remember what they told us at Capitol when we were just starting out?" Raynald said to Jean Guardy Bien-Aime, "What would they say if they were in here tonight?"

At one point in time in the middle of watching the movie, I was sitting next to Raynald Delerme and he said to me: "Woody, you should see your face!"

"I'm into it man" I replied.

In plain english, everybody loved it.

Towards the end of the night all I heard were good things.

As a promoter, I choose not to give you my personal opinion about any Haitian movies, I love all Haitian movies and I specifically love the once I get paid to promote.

belfim.com/picture-2572However it would be unfair to Samuel Vincent and Producer Carine Delerme and the cast and crew of Natalie if I did not tell you what I witnessed at the grand premiere.

I invite all Belfim fans who was there at the premiere of Natalie to be honest and tell the others your honest opinion about Haitian movie Natalie.

There was a Gentleman whose name I don't recall, he is a Haitian American man from a production company who was involved in the making of Bad Boys (Starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith), After watching the movie he was speechless. not only that, he promisses $10,000 towards the financing of Samuel Vincent's next movie.

I don't recall his exact words but he did say $10,000.
