There has been rumors since Monday August 10, 2009 going around that Haitian comedian Jesifra is dead.

These rumors came from Haiti via Phone and text messages that he died in a car accident.

As soon as it was posted on Belfim, there were lots of comments posted about it and the news spread out to hundreds of entertainment blogs and new sites around the Internet.

Earlier this month, a friend of mine in Miami told me that Fernel Valcourt aka Jesifra was due to perform live at the north Miami High school, in North Miami Florida, on Sunday, September 27, 2009.

Haitian filmmaker and Movie Lakay spokesman Francy Seneque caught up with the supposedly "dead' comedian for an interview.
