For Helping Haiti, Georges Clooney Gets The Bob Hope Award

Hollywood California - George Clooney will be awarded the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award at the Emmy Awards ceremony next month for helping to raise money for Haiti after the earthquake of January 12.

George Clooney was the executive producer of the Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief Television Special, Also nominated for an Emmy, which raised millions of dollars to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake

George Clooney is the fourth recipient of the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.

The three previous recipients were Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby, and Danny Thomas

The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on August 29 2010 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles California.
