Easter Movies In Haitian Creole
belfim.com/blog.php/685easter-etc.com/post.phpHoliday shopping is big business and Bellywood (The Haitian movie industry) is not taking advantage of it.
During any Holiday season, consumers will buy anything to make that holiday memorable.
- Flowers for Valentines Day
- Costumes for Halloween
- Cards for Christmas
- Movies to watch with the family.
And every holiday season, we leave it up to the Hollywood boys to make us laugh and enjoy each other's company. So far not one Haitian filmmaker has been inspired to make a movie for the Holidays.
Honestly, I cant even tell you what Haitian movie to watch during the Holidays... during any holiday...
Except perhaps the Passion of Christ in Haitian Creole... But's it is not a "Haitian" movie, only a creole translation of Holy woood!
Speaking of The Passion of Christ in Creole, I do have that DVD in my house, maybe this Easter weekend is a good time to finally watch it.
Ayayay.......
I left it in New York!
Oh well...
