Reginald Paul

Reginald Paul Biography

Reginald Paul was born in Haiti in 1974. When he was 10 years old his mother took him to the United States.

He grew up in the mean streets of Harlem during the height of the crack and cocaine epidemic in New York City.

The lessons learned in the streets propelled him to write an essay called "If these streets could talk" based on his older brother's paralysis from a single gun shot wound to the back and the death of an old childhood friend caused by a gang member.

That essay got him an acceptance at the School of Visual arts after completing his associate in broadcasting.

In 2000 he subsequently began to develop short experimental works, socio-political documentaries. One of which named "Patrick's Funeral" based on the aftermath of the slain Haitian kid by a New York City undercover cop.

He went on to open "A la Creole", a Haitian American Restaurant in Harlem. He has worked on some major block buster films such as "the ghost busters, girl's fight...and numerous independent films while producing, writing and directing several shorts, videos and now Kreyole Boyz - The Movie.

He is also the co-host of two known radio shows in the Haitian community. Now a C.E.O of the Kreyole Boyz LLC.
