Frantz Saint Louis Biography

Actor Frantz St. Louis He was born in New York but his parents are Haitian.

This enticing, versatile young actor is on the verge of becoming one of the best character actors of his generation.

Born Frantz Saint Louis, and raised by a single mother and his grandmother in Brooklyn, New York.

Frantz fell in love with the arts at the early age of three.

He would put on one man plays for family and friends for ice cream and would also perform in school talents shows and plays.

In college, he and a friend took an acting class as an elective and his acting coach at the time suggested that he consider acting as a major.

After auditioning for Adam Wade, he landed the lead role in the play "Runway 22" and was given a scholarship to finish college.

He was attending college, and was enrolled in a two-year Meisner program with Nina Murano.

Adam Wade and Nina Murano became his mentors and as fate would have it Frantz auditioned for Broadway legend Louis Larusso II and was cast as "Anthony" in the Off-Broadway hit "The Zebra." He played the role of a young slave in the play "Know Thy Enemy' where critics described Frantz as "Powerful", "it will be a long time before we see another young actor like this." Frantz continued to hone his craft at the Hadley Players Theatre and performed in "Light In the Cellar" produced by Ruby Dee and the late Ossie Davis.

His versatility allows him to portray very believable characters in both drama and comedy.

Frantz made his film debut after impressing writer/director Jim Mcaky and HBO executives and was written a lead role as "Franz" in the HBO film "Everyday People"
