Marc Anthony Delerme

Marc Anthony Delerme Biography

Marc Anthony Delerme is sometimes credited as Marc Delerme, Marc Anthony

Earlier in life, Marc Anthony was always in the entertainment industry.

His father, Raynald Delerme, is a pioneer Haitian film maker, one of the most well-known actors in the haitian community, and his mother, Regine Lafontant, was a producer and a make up artist.

As a shy child, he didn't want anything to do with that business. But if it's in your blood, then you just gotta do what you gotta do.

The acting bug hit Marc Anthony as a high school student in drama class. Since then, he's been to many, many auditions. As we all know, Hollywood is very hard to get into, especially without selling your soul.

So, basically he sat down one day and just thought, "If my dad could have this much impact in the haitian community, in america, then why can't I give it a try?" And here is how it all began.

He wrote a story loosely based on a robbery that happened to him. He hustled, and worked about 80 hours a week for a whole year, then went out and bought a GL2 camera, a Mac computer, and some lights.

From then he was set, production wise, but he still had to find actors. He asked some friends and relatives of his who shared the same passion for acting as him, and they believed in he story strongly enough to be a part of it.

So here we are now, wrapping up production of his first film, thanks to the help of his actors, family memebers, and a lot of work and sweat...his dream is almost a reality.

So look out for his feature film, Where's The Justice, and remember always support independent film makers.
