Regi Chevalier Biography

Regi Chevalier was born and grew up in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Upon graduating from High School he decided to move to the States to study and to pursue a career in the Arts.

Chevalier joined Warning Films as an Associate Producer in 2003. Since his arrival he has worked on several projects such as: Nora's Hair Salon, Sugar Valentine, Fubu Street Snaps, not only as a producer but also as casting director, AD, DP, sound track producer and as an actor.

Currently, Chevalier is collaborating with well known screenwriters on project development and notably the "Untitled Haiti Project" where he's the Executive Producer.

He recently formed Warning Media group under the umbrella of Warning Films (warningfilms.com) which will be focusing on raising capital for future Haitian film projects, Production Houses and notably Student Film Seminars and Education in Haiti.

Chevalier's career started back in 1987 with a successful tenure in modeling and publicity spots in Chicago. Eventually, Hollywood became the next step for him. Upon his arrival there, he joined One Nation Films that presented him with the opportunity to produce and act in a series of short films and music videos.

After four years with One Nation Films and a better knowledge in the film industry, he decided to work on his own in Talent Management. It was at this time that he was introduced to Warning Films and in spite of his professionalism and talents, was invited to work on expanding branches within the production company.

Chevalier had also the rare privilege to have worked with some of Hollywood heavy weights such as Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks in The Terminal; Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in Bad Boy 2.

Chevalier's commitment is to provide quality Haitian urban films that will appeal not only to the Haitian people but to a worldwide audience.
